The game

Welcome to Minuit Hôtel

Tonight, you are the only guests of a hotel that opens only at midnight. Here, nobody gives their real name: you get your borrowed names, and every page tells you who does what.

You go up floor by floor, Velvet, Scarlet, Forbidden, and every room is a scene to play: the Midnight Tray blindfolded, the Photographer, the Lost Ice Cube, the Mirror, Silk Ties, the Last Key. Before each scene, each of you secretly reads your own rule, a hidden challenge the other knows nothing about.

Between floors, Room Service knocks with a challenge. At the Penthouse, your golden keys decide your ending. A version for every couple: WM, WW or MM: everything is written for you.

Three versions
One version per couple, WM, WW or MM: each version has its own names and texts.
6 rooms on 3 floors
Velvet, Scarlet, Forbidden: two rooms per floor, bolder and bolder, played in order.

In each room, each of you secretly reads your rule: a hidden challenge to pull off during the scene.
Golden keys
Every rule pulled off earns a golden key. At the Penthouse, your keys decide your ending.
Room Service
Between floors, a challenge brought to your door: express striptease, dessert on the skin, Penthouse dress code.
Always a gentle version
Every scene has its gentle version, on the same page, and the word Midnight pauses everything.

How to play

How a game unfolds

  1. 01Open the PDF on your phone or tablet, in Books, Files or Adobe Reader, and move forward by tapping the buttons.
  2. 02Read the rules and the Pact together: Champagne, keep going; Ivory, gentler; Midnight, pause.
  3. 03In each room, read the scenario together, then each of you reads your secret rule while the other closes their eyes.
  4. 04Play the scene, count your golden keys, and climb up to the Penthouse.

What you needWith what you have: three little things to nibble, honey or chocolate, a blindfold (or a tie), two scarves, ice cubes, a mirror (or the black TV screen), your phone (flashlight and timer) and slow music.
